Our Mission
Supporting maternal mental health and family wellbeing through mobile infant care access at events.
The Nursing Nest reduces barriers for families with infants by providing dedicated care areas where parents and caregivers can meet their baby’s needs with greater comfort and support. Our work helps families care for their babies with dignity while staying connected to their communities.
Why We Exist
Families attending public events often struggle to find a comfortable, supportive place to care for their babies.
Without that support, parents may feel added stress, overwhelm or isolation while trying to care for their baby in a public setting. Some families leave early, avoid events altogether or feel disconnected during a season when community support can make a meaningful difference for maternal mental health.
The Nursing Nest brings mobile infant care access directly to events. Our dedicated care areas reduce practical barriers and help families remain connected to the places where community happens.
How We Support Families
Feeding & Pumping Support
We provide comfortable, visually separated care areas for caregivers who need to breastfeed, pump, bottle-feed or combination feed while attending events.
Infant Care
Access
Our mobile setup gives families a calmer place to care for their babies while away from home. Parents and caregivers can use The Nursing Nest to meet their baby’s needs, regroup and return to the event with greater comfort and support.
Community Connection
Infant care access helps families participate more fully in community life. When caregiving needs are considered as part of event planning, parents do not have to choose between attending an event and caring for their baby.
