Our Mission

Supporting maternal mental health and family wellbeing through mobile infant care access at events.

The Nursing Nest helps reduce barriers for families with infants by providing private care accommodations where parents and caregivers can care for their babies with greater comfort and support. Our work gives parents and caregivers a more dignified way to meet their baby’s needs while staying connected in society.

Why We exist

Families attending public events often struggle to find private, supportive accommodations where they can care for their babies comfortably.

Without that support, parents may feel added stress, overwhelm or isolation while trying to care for their baby in a public setting. Some families leave early, avoid events altogether or feel disconnected during a season when community support can make a meaningful difference for maternal mental health.

The Nursing Nest creates welcoming mobile infant care accommodations that reduce these barriers and help families with infants stay connected to the places where community happens.

How We Support Families

feeding & pumping Support

We provide private, comfortable accommodations for caregivers who need to breastfeed, pump, bottle-feed or combination feed while attending events.

Infant Care
Accommodations

Our mobile setup gives families a calmer place to care for their babies while away from home. Parents and caregivers can use The Nursing Nest to meet their baby’s needs, regroup and return to the event with greater comfort and support.

Community Connection

Infant care access helps families participate more fully in community life. With the right support in place, parents do not have to choose between attending an event and meeting their baby’s needs.
