The Nursing Nest creates staffed, supportive care areas where families can feed, pump, change, soothe and care for their babies while remaining connected to the event around them.
We primarily serve events throughout Central Ohio.
Supporting Families at Community Events
Attending an event with an infant often requires families to plan around feeding, pumping, diaper changes, soothing and other care needs.
The Nursing Nest works with event organizers, employers and community organizations to bring infant care support directly into the places where people gather.
Our presence helps reduce practical barriers for families with infants and gives parents and caregivers a more comfortable way to meet their babies’ needs without having to leave the event, return to their vehicle or search for an appropriate place to provide care.
We welcome inquiries for community events, private organizational gatherings, workplace events and other family-centered events.
What We Provide

Our mobile program is designed to support both everyday infant care needs and the wellbeing of parents and caregivers attending events with babies.
Feeding and Pumping Access
Caregivers may use The Nursing Nest for breastfeeding, pumping, bottle-feeding, bottle preparation or combination feeding.
Breastfeeding is not required. Families are welcome to use the area for the type of feeding support that works for them and their baby.
Diapering and Soothing Support
The area may also be used for diaper changes, soothing, calming an overstimulated baby or taking a quieter moment away from the surrounding activity.
Staffed Event Support
The Nursing Nest is more than an unattended tent or room. Our team helps maintain the area, welcome families, provide basic care supplies and connect caregivers with available community resources when appropriate.
Events We Support
The Nursing Nest can be incorporated into a variety of community, public health and organizational events.
Our program is especially valuable at events where families may spend several hours away from home, where infant care resources are limited or where attendees would otherwise need to leave the event to care for their baby.
Event organizers interested in reducing barriers for families with infants are encouraged to submit an inquiry.
Community Partnerships
The Nursing Nest works with event organizers, community organizations, healthcare partners, employers, sponsors and municipalities to expand infant care access across Central Ohio.
Together, we can create community experiences where families are better supported while caring for their babies.
